Outspan Primary School is a Seventh-day Adventist Church affiliated educational Institution located along Gayaza-Zirobwe road 25 km. from the nation's capital Kampala, at Namulonge Trading Center, Nansana Municipality in Wakiso District. The School started in September of 1999 using rented premises. Now over the more than 20 years after inception, the School has so far been blessed with a long fruitful stay in the area and with a school population of 1,200 learners and the number of staff growing to over 80 employees.
The school is legally registered by the Ministry of Education & Sports of the Republic of Uganda and has got a Primary Leaving Examination center number. Apart from being an academic Institution, the school endeavours to equip learners with skills or talent developing programmes; namely children are trained to play brass band music, since the school possesses a brass band, learners are encouraged to appreciate the use of their hands, head and heart as part of their education particularly in engaging in diary zero grazing, poultry and goat rearing, games and sports and crafts (needle work) and many other activities.
To supplement Government effort of providing quality education to all children in Uganda.
To provide employment opportunities to teachers in the area who could not be employed by Government of Uganda.
To propagate (transmit from one generation to the next) values of Adventist Education to children in the area.
To nurture children in Christian philosophy of honesty, self-reliance, simple lifestyle and service to the community.

The Nursery Section
Another achievement not worth overlooking is the School Nursery Section. This section is also located at the main campus at Namulonge. The Nursery section admits children from the age of 3 years. The Nursery section is located on the lower section of the school campus with over180 kids and 8 staffs. The Nursery School has three sections namely; Baby Section, Middle Section and Top class sections. It is headed by Teacher Cathy Kakumba.

Other Achievements
The school has established a sister school branch at Kiwenda trading center - just 2 kilometers away and this another great achievement yet attained by Outspan Primary School. This branch has a population of more than 500 learners and a staff of 25 employees.
The school has also embarked on the construction (already on-going) of a four-storied classroom building of 34 classroom blocks which is estimated to cost 2 billion Uganda Shillings. We thank God for this yet another achievement!
